Volunteer: VOA Pickleball Ambassador in SultanVOA’s volunteer Pickleball Ambassadors oversee daily pickleball operations, ensuring a positive experience for all players. In exchange for their ongoing service, Pickleball Ambassadors can enjoy free pickleball play during open sessions at the Sky Valley Center. Pickleball Ambassador Responsibilities: o Ensure a positive environment for all players: welcome new players; orient new players to rules and etiquette; enforce VOA’s Code of Conduct and pickleball rules. o Set-up pickleball courts at beginning of session, take down at end of session, and ensure gym is clean and free of debris at end of session. o Communicate as soon as possible with Center Manager in event of absence due to illness or unforeseen event; participant violation of Code of Conduct; equipment issues; or facility concerns. o Agree to oversee one full pickleball session each week, and communicate with at least two weeks’ notice in event of upcoming absence. o Ensure that all players who participate have completed a VOA registration or membership form, have checked in at the Sky Valley Center, and have: 1) paid a daily rate or punch card; 2) receive financial assistance to play; 3) are playing w/ a promotion (ex: free pass, one week free); or are a VOA-approved Ambassador, staff or partner.
