Purrfect Pals is seeking reliable and compassionate Volunteer Drivers to support the daily operations of our cat rescue and adoption programs. Volunteer Drivers play a vital role in ensuring cats receive timely veterinary care and helping us keep our shelter and partner locations stocked with essential supplies.

Position SummaryVolunteer Drivers provide safe and dependable transportation for cats and supplies as part of our lifesaving mission. This includes driving cats to and from veterinary appointments, transporting cats to and from our Renton PetSmart adoption location, and picking up donated supplies from partner stores.

Key ResponsibilitiesTransport cats safely to and from veterinary appointmentsShuttle cats between Purrfect Pals and the Renton PetSmart adoption centerPick up donated supplies from partner businesses and deliver them to designated locationsEnsure animals are transported securely and with care using provided carriers and protocolsCommunicate promptly about pick-ups, drop-offs, and scheduling updatesIdeal QualificationsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordComfortable driving locally and managing occasional multiple stopsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds (for carriers and supplies)Friendly, positive, and professional attitude when interacting with staff and partnersReliable, punctual, and detail-orientedAvailabilityWe are especially seeking volunteers with flexible weekday availability to accommodate veterinary appointments and donation pickups, which often occur during business hours. Scheduling is coordinated in advance whenever possible, with occasional short-notice needs depending on animal care requirements.

Help Purrfect Pals cats find their forever homes at our Arlington adoption center! We are looking for cat lovers who can spare a few hours a week to care for the cats and help match them with potential adopters.

Role Overview:

Adoption Counselors play a vital role in creating positive experiences for both the cats and potential adopters. You’ll help ensure every adoption is a successful, happy match.

Responsibilities:

Greet and engage with potential adopters, answering questions and sharing information about the catsFacilitate introductions between adopters and cats to ensure a good fitAssist with adoption paperwork and processing paymentsProvide guidance on cat care, supplies, and tips for a smooth transition into a new homeMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming adoption environmentCollaborate with fellow volunteers and staff to ensure a positive experience for everyoneQualifications:

Passion for cats and animal welfareFriendly, patient, and approachable with the publicComfortable using computers for adoption paperworkReliable, punctual, and able to commit to a regular schedule once a week or every other week for 2-4 hours per dayBenefits:

We are always looking for more cat lovers who can spare a few hours a week to make a real difference.
