VOA's Carl Gipson Center is a 20,000 ft sq community center that focuses on seniors (50+) during all operational hours, and welcomes people of all ages after 2pm on M-Th and all day Saturday.
We depend on reliable, positive volunteers to offer programs, classes, clubs and services to our community. Examples include: dancing, drama/theater production, music, scrapbooking, and inclusive groups based on shared experience, culture, language and/or country of origin.
Are you passionate about a specific area or topic? Do you have advanced skills in an area and an interest in sharing your knowledge? Are you gifted at building small, inclusive communities through regular activities at the Center?
If you are interested in volunteering for a regular frequency of service (ex: weekly, monthly, etc.) and creating a special space in downtown Everett, this is the opportunity for you.
