Who We Are
Eat Happy Now is a 501c3 was formed in 2022 with the goal to get community volunteers to serve the food insecure population with food rescue from local grocery stores, restaurants and other food establishments.
What We Do
Eat Happy is a food rescue nonprofit serving Puget Sound area. Our Mission is "Solving for hunger by rescuing healthy food going to landfill and delivering it real time to those in need, through nonprofit partners". Our Vision is "Using technology to seamlessly connect recovered surplus food and matching demand for real time delivery, redirecting surplus food from ending up in landfill" We operate in a way similar to an Online food delivery service like Uber Eats- when we receive donations, volunteers pick up the food and deliver it to those in need in the community. Volunteers use our app to sign up for jobs, picking up and delivering food in real time.
