Thursday's: Any hours between 10am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting fruits and vegetables.
- Help maintain the garden by mulching, composting, and general upkeep.
- Work with food bank staff to ensure harvested produce is properly stored and distributed.
- Support sustainability efforts, such as composting and organic gardening practices.
- Engage with other volunteers and community members to create a welcoming and productive space.
Requirements:
- No prior gardening experience necessary—just a willingness to learn!
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable with light physical labor, including bending, lifting, and carrying.
- Passion for community service and food security.
