We need of a committed leader to coordinate our weekly Clothing Closet.
The role requires two shifts: one on a weekday or Friday morning, to prepare to serve families; and the other on Fridays from 1:30 to 4:30pm.
Role Responsibilities:
Sort new clothing donations, evaluating for quality. Organize those that are new and/or of good quality in racks and bins of our mobile Clothing Closet. Bag other clothes for donation or disposal.
Create and enact policies and procedures for families receiving donations.
On Friday afternoons: With help from Center staff and volunteers, set up Clothing Closet racks and bins upstairs; serve & track families coming through Closet; put away Closet at 4:30pm.
Communicate with Center leadership about much-needed items, for communication with potential donors.
